The paultan.org Auto Car Expo (ACE) is taking place this month once again at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC) on November 8 and 9, 2025, and as before, this is where a wide selection of auto brands will be in attendance. With co-sponsors Carro and Kärcher, ACE 2025 is where the best deals on your next automobile purchase are to be found.
Among the big names set to grace the latest edition of the expo is BYD, which will be showcasing a spread of its product line-up currently on sale in the market at ACE 2025. Among them are the Sealion 7 and the recently launched Seal 6, with generous savings on offer when you purchase at the event.
Starting with the Sealion 7, the electric SUV can be had with savings of up to RM20,000, and that gets you, the buyer either a single-motor or dual-motor EV as Premium or Performance variant respectively. The Premium brings 313 PS/380 Nm motor driving the rear wheels to propel the Sealion 7 from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, while the Performance with its 523 PS/690 Nm pairing enables the sprint to be done in 4.5 seconds.
Both Premium and Performance variants get the 82.56 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which offers 567 km of range on the NEDC test cycle, while the Performance does 542 km (NEDC). For convenience, DC fast charging gets the Sealion 7 from 10-80% state of charge in 32 minutes.
Plenty of technology is on hand within the Sealion 7 – a 15.6-inch touchscreen that rotates, and a 10.25-inch instrument display, along with a 50-inch AR head-up display brings the visuals, while a four-zone intelligent voice interaction system enables voice commands to be received from all corners of the occupant cabin.
Also on are are dual-zone air-conditioning, a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, a 50 watt wireless mobile charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and four USB ports (two front, two rear, one Type-A and one Type-C each).
Joining the Sealion 7 is the new player in the field, the Seal 6, also offered in two variants, Dynamic and Premium. The Dynamic brings a 129 PS/220 Nm powertrain to make it capable of 0-100 km/h in 10.9 seconds and a 160 km/h maximum, while the Premium gets a 218 PS/330 Nm motor to yield a century sprint in 7.5 seconds and a 180 km/h top speed.
A 56.64 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery yields the same 410 km of range for both variants on the WLTP test standard, and this can be recharged at up to 100 kW DC for a 23 minute recharge from 30-80%, while AC charging is offered at up to 6.6 kW, with V2L functionality at up to 3.7 kW.
