These updates address seller pain points related to response time and listing efficiency. The features aim to streamline initial buyer communications and reduce manual data entry. The changes expand the platform’s existing AI integrations for buyers and vehicle listings.
Meta AI drafts replies to buyer inquiries using listing details such as description, availability, pickup location, and price. Sellers can enable, preview, and edit these auto-replies during listing creation. The company stated this addresses the volume of initial messages sellers receive.
Meta AI also creates draft listings after a seller uploads an item image. The system fills in details and suggests prices based on similar local items. This process is designed to reduce the time required to list new items.
Buyers will see a summary of a seller’s Facebook profile at the top of their Marketplace page. The overview includes time on Facebook, friend count, listing history, item types, and seller ratings. This provides additional context before a buyer initiates contact.
Sellers can offer shipping on listings and generate prepaid labels through the platform. Orders can be tracked from a simple dashboard. These features join existing Meta AI tools for buyer questions and vehicle listing insights.
