They&#039;ve become status symbols for the rich and influential, like Mark Zuckerberg, and markers of style for everyday fashion fans.<\/p>\n<p>But everyone approaches watches differently. Some like tech-based options, while others go for collector pieces.<\/p>\n<p>So Business Insider reached out to successful men across industries to learn their favorites. These are the watches they wear every day.<\/p>\n<p>An equity research professional says his Omega watch stands out in his collection.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.insider.com\/68cd61b5f9db348adc0bcd26?format=jpeg\" alt=\"A Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M watch from Omega.\"\/><figcaption>\n<p>Omega<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bobby Mollins, 35, is the director of internet research at Gordon Haskett. Business Insider previously named him a rising star of his industry.<\/p>\n<p>He has &quot;quite a few&quot; watches in his collection, but his favorite is Omega&#039;s Seamaster Planet Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>He wears an $8,000 model that he chose for two reasons.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I wanted a watch for daily wear that was more modern looking and sturdier \u2014 heavier, thicker, and with greater anti-magnetism \u2014 than a Rolex Submariner,&quot; he said. &quot;I also appreciated how versatile the Omega watch is in terms of pairing it with various outfits.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The founder of a brand development agency alternates between two timepieces.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.insider.com\/68cd67b9f9db348adc0bcdbd?format=jpeg\" alt=\"The Time Teller watch in gold from Nixon.\"\/><figcaption>The Time Teller watch in gold from Nixon.<\/p>\n<p>Nixon<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Antonio White, 38, started his career as a deputy assistant secretary of community engagement at the US Treasury Department. Now, he&#039;s the founder of 480 Advisors, which works with executive brands and government officials.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with Business Insider, he said he utilizes two watches.<\/p>\n<p>First, his Apple Watch is a &quot;mainstay for workouts and fitness competitions,&quot; White said. More often, though, he&#039;s seen sporting the $150 Nixon Time Teller in gold.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I&#039;ve kept this watch in my style rotation for over 10 years,&quot; he said. &quot;It has a classic look with an urban sophistication, which makes it super flexible. Now, he&#039;s a lifestyle content creator who makes videos about men&#039;s fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Nicoll told Business Insider that his most worn watch is also the most expensive in his collection: the $650 Super Titanium timepiece from Citizen.<\/p>\n<p>Not only is it &quot;relatively affordable for the average guy,&quot; he said, but it&#039;s also stylish.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I love this watch because of the beautiful blue dial and the pop of color it brings to my outfits,&quot; he said. &quot;It is a massive compliment getter.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>A venture capitalist says his Apple Watch does everything he needs.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.insider.com\/68dc1eb0cc993f9955cf38b3?format=jpeg\" alt=\"An Apple Watch over a blue background.\"\/><figcaption>\n<p>Apple<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Samuel Garcia, 31, is a partner at Amplo. That role earned him a spot on Business Insider&#039;s list of rising stars of venture capital last year.<\/p>\n<p>Though he doesn&#039;t wear watches every day, there is one he&#039;s pretty loyal to: his Apple Watch.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It&#039;s almost exclusively for functionality and not for telling the time,&quot; he said. &quot;I&#039;m trying to track my heart rate. I&#039;ve seen a lot of folks my age realize that they&#039;re developing sorts of cardiac conditions, so I&#039;ve been really aware of that and trying to get ahead of it.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Apple Watches retail between $249 and $799 each, depending on the model you buy.<\/p>\n<p>Another venture capitalist has found a middle ground between department store and luxury with Tudor.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.insider.com\/68dc26f75dbc4fd10da9e165?format=jpeg\" alt=\"A Tudor Black Bay 58 watch.\"\/><figcaption>\n<p>Tudor<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Brannon Jones, 31, is also a Business Insider rising star of venture capital thanks to his work at AlleyCorp.<\/p>\n<p>He owns several time-telling accessories, from Citizen watches to a Breitling timepiece.
