Latest member of the \u2018CB\u2019 motorcycle lineup is the 2026 Honda CB1000F retro naked. Drawing inspiration from the CB750F racing motorcycle ridden by Freddie Spencer, the CB1000F is part of a Honda large displacement inline-four lineage going back to the 1968 (released as a 1969 model) CB750F.<\/p>\n

Carrying a distinctly Honda retro styling, the CB1000F sports a single round headlamp flanked by twin horns, and the traditional megaphone silencer. This is further carried over with the signature CB-F design, with a connecting line flowing from the tank, through the side covers and seat into the rear cowl.<\/p>\n

At the CB1000F is the vaunted Honda inline-four cylinder, this unit taken from the CBR1000RR Fireblade, suitably fettled to reflect duty as a road-going naked sports. With revised camshafts and exhaust and inlet valve timing, the CB1000F gets 122 hp at 9,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 8,000 rpm, delivering power across the rev range.<\/p>\n

The electronic riding suite for the CB1000F is powered by a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) giving Cornering ABS. Riding aids include three riding modes and twuuser selectable modes, controlling power, engine braking traction control and wheelie control.<\/p>\n

Handling for the CB1000F is brought up-to-date with the installation pf 41 mm diameter Showa SFF upside-down front forks while a Showa adjustable monoshock is fitted to the Honda Pro-Link rear suspension linkage. Braking the front wheel is done with twin 310 mm diameter brake discs with radial-mount four piston brake callipers.<\/p>\n

Riding information is displayed on a five-inch TF-LCD panel with Honda RoadSync Bluetooth connectivity to the rider\u2019s smartphone. Functions on the CB1000F are controlled using a joystick on the left handlebar pod while a Smart Key system allows for keyless operation.<\/p>\n

As part of Honda\u2019s global initiative to reduce consumption of resources and increase recycling, the CB1000F\u2019s rear fenders and seat base are made from pre-consumer recycled PP (Polypropylene). There are three colour options for the CB1000F in 2026, Wolf Silver Metallic with either Blue or Grey stripes, and Graphite Black with Red stripe.<\/p>\n
