The company stated the network has since fully recovered after resolving the problem with a vendor partner.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Vodafone provided details on the event: \u201cOn Monday afternoon, for a short time, the Vodafone network had an issue affecting broadband, 4G and 5G services.\u201d The company stressed the incident was not a cyber attack, attributing the failure to \u201ca non\u2011malicious software issue with one of our vendor partners which has now been resolved.\u201d With services fully restored, the spokesperson added, \u201cWe apologise for any inconvenience this caused our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The outage affected hundreds of thousands of customers, with widespread reports of dropped wifi, 4G, and 5G connections. The disruption also took Vodafone\u2019s own app, website, and customer service systems offline.
