Porsche\u2019s driver-focused GTS lineup has been expanded with the introduction of the new Macan GTS \u2013 the first all-electric version to wear the badge. This tauter, sharper electric SUV neatly occupies the sweet spot between the Macan 4S and the full-fat Turbo.<\/p>\n

The all-wheel-drive GTS is a close relation to the Turbo, sharing that car\u2019s powerful rear motor but pairing it with a slightly less exuberant front motor. Outputs are rated at a still-healthy 516 PS (380 kW) and 955 Nm of torque; this gets boosted to 571 PS (420 kW) for up to ten seconds with launch control activated. So equipped, the car sprints from zero to 100 km\/h in just 3.8 seconds and to 200 km\/h in 13.3 seconds, on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km\/h.<\/p>\n

Retaining the same 100 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery as other Macans, the GTS offers a range of up to 586 km on the WLTP cycle. As per those models, the car features an 800-volt electrical architecture and supports up to 270 kW of DC fast charging, taking 21 minutes to top up from 10 to 80%.<\/p>\n

Befitting its status as a particularly sporty variant, the GTS comes as standard with a Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) electronic locking rear differential, along with air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) dampers. Here, the chassis has been specially tuned with a ten millimetre lower ride height and bespoke damper and anti-roll bar settings, claimed to improve agility and cornering precision. Rear-wheel steering is optional, as usual.<\/p>\n

On the outside, the GTS differentiates itself from other 2026 models by getting the new black Sport Design bodykit fitted as standard, adding a jutting front spoiler, deeper side skirts and a larger, more pronounced rear diffuser. Unique to the GTS is a matte finish with gloss black inserts replacing the usual body colour.<\/p>\n

You also get smoked matrix LED headlights and full-width taillights as standard, along with three new colour options \u2013 Lugano Blue, the GTS\u2019 trademark Carmine Red and the returning Crayon. As standard, the car rolls on 21-inch Macan Design alloy wheels in Anthracite Grey, with the 22-inch RS Spyder Design units you see here available as an option.<\/p>\n

Inside, the GTS comes as standard with Race-Tex microfibre upholstery \u2013 extended to the GT Sports steering wheel, dashboard and arm rests \u2013 as well as part-leather 18-way power-adjustable Sports Seats. Buyers can also spec the optional GTS Interior Package that colour codes certain panels, stitching and GTS lettering in the Carmine Red, Lugano Blue or Slate Grey Neo exterior colours.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the 12.6-inch curved instrument display shows the GTS logo and the chosen paint option on the car in the 3D visualisation. Other standard equipment includes the Sport Chrono package and Porsche Electric Sport Sound (PESS) with GTS-specific sound profiles in Sport and Sport Plus modes.<\/p>\n

The GTS also benefits from various 2026 model year improvements for the wider Macan range, such as the new smartphone-based Porsche Digital Key, additional parking assistance functions, an AI-powered voice control system and expanded in-car gaming options. The maximum towing capacity has also been boosted to 2,500 kg.<\/p>\n
