The Power Play multiplier was 2.<\/p>\n<p>The jackpot had drawn national attention as it grew through more than 46 consecutive drawings without a top winner since September 6.<\/p>\n<p>The Powerball jackpot has been won once on Christmas Eve \u2014 in 2011 \u2014 and four times on Christmas Day, according to a Powerball press release.<\/p>\n<p>The odds of winning are roughly 1 in 292 million, and each ticket costs $2.
