PLUS donates four Honda CR-V patrol cars to JPJ

PLUS has donated four units of the Honda CR-V to the road transport department (JPJ) for the latter’s enforcement work. The SUVs, in 1.5L turbo form, were handed over to JPJ in Putrajaya today in a simple ceremony witnessed by transport minister Anthony Loke.

The highway concessionaire says that the CR-Vs – which sport JPJ livery on a white base, plus lights on the roof – are to assist JPJ in law enforcement, patrol work and more effective monitoring on PLUS-operated highways.

This initiative is part of a strategic cooperation between PLUS and JPJ in ensuring that the public enjoy safe journeys on the highway, besides strengthening enforcement work along the North-South Highway.

PLUS says that the handover of this latest batch of four vehicles is the second donation to JPJ, the first of which happened in 2019. That batch consisted of 10 units of the previous-generation CR-V with the 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, so it’s a big performance upgrade for the officers.
