Malaysian fuel prices Oct 23-29, 2025 – RON97 down 4 sen to RM3.14/litre; diesel down 4 sen to RM2.89/litre

The ministry of finance has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of October 23 to 29, 2025. As stated previously, unsubsidised RON 95 petrol will remain priced at RM2.60 per litre for the entire month of October 2025.

Malaysians with a valid driving licence and are eligible for the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) programme will get to purchase RON 95 petrol at a subsidised rate of RM1.99 per litre with a monthly quota of 300 litres.

Meanwhile, RON 97 users can look forward to paying less for the fuel in the coming week, with a four sen reduction bringing the price down from the RM3.18 per litre it was at last week to RM3.14 per litre for the coming week.

The price of diesel has also dropped by four sen. Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends are priced at RM2.89 per litre, while Euro 5 B7, which is priced 20 sen more per litre, adjusts to RM3.09 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuels in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

These prices take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, October 29, 2025, when the next set of fuel price updates are announced. This is the 43rd edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 354th in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
