Google celebrates Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary with a Halloween-themed Doodle, featuring four haunted-house mazes designed by Bandai Namco Entertainment for play on October 30 and 31.
Players control Pac-Man, navigating mazes to consume all dots while avoiding the Ghost Gang: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Maze designs reflect individual ghost behaviors; for example, Blinky, the red ghost, directly pursues Pac-Man, while others attempt to corner him. Collecting a Power Pallet enables a temporary phase where Pac-Man can chase and consume the ghosts.
The game is accessible via the Google homepage on desktop or the Google app on both Android and iOS mobile platforms. Desktop users maneuver Pac-Man using keyboard arrow keys. Mobile users control Pac-Man by swiping or pressing and moving a finger to change direction.
