Adobe Photoshop rolled out upgraded Firefly-powered generative-AI editing tools today for creators. The enhancements improve Generative Fill, Generative Expand, and Remove functions through higher-quality outputs.
These tools generate results at 2K resolution, exhibiting fewer artifacts and greater detail. They also achieve superior adherence to user-provided prompts, refining the editing process for precise image manipulation.
The Reference Image option within Generative Fill received specific upgrades. It now delivers “geometry‑aware results that better match the scene,” ensuring generated content aligns more accurately with existing image structures.
A beta version of Dynamic Text launched alongside these changes. This feature simplifies the process of transforming a text layer into a curved shape, streamlining design workflows for varied typographic effects.
Photoshop incorporated three new non-destructive adjustment layers: Clarity, Dehaze, and Grain. These layers permit image edits without modifying underlying content, preserving original files during adjustments.
