Google Calendar will introduce a searchable time zone picker on its web interface, replacing the current scroll-based selection method.
The change addresses a long-standing user complaint about navigating an extensive list of time zones to schedule events across regions. Google said the improved picker will appear in all locations where time zone selection is available within the calendar application.
The update allows users to type a city name or time zone abbreviation to locate their desired option directly. Google announced the feature through its Workspace Updates blog. The company did not specify an exact rollout date but indicated the change will reach all users in the coming weeks.
