Casualties rise following Russian attacks on Pryluky and Hlukhiv

The number of casualties following Russian ballistic missile strikes on Pryluky in the Chernihiv region and drone attacks on Hlukhiv in the Sumy region has increased, the State Emergency Service and the Prosecutor's Office reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.

Chernihiv Region

As a result of the Russian missile strike on Pryluky, 2 people were killed and 21 others were injured, including a 14-year-old child

– the State Emergency Service reported.

Earlier, two fatalities and 17 injuries were reported.

"Around 10 a.m., the Russians struck the center of Pryluky with a ballistic missile. One of the enterprises was hit. A shopping center near the impact site, a supermarket, and fire equipment were damaged," Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, stated on social media.

At the site of the strike, the State Emergency Service indicated that a fire broke out in a warehouse of the shopping center. Rescuers promptly liquidated the fire.

Medics are providing the victims with the necessary assistance.

Sumy Region

According to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, 2 fatalities are known in the Hlukhiv community — both men born in 1967.

At the same time, the number of wounded has increased. Currently, two men — aged 37 and 53 — and two women, aged 58 and 57, have sought medical assistance.

Earlier, two fatalities and two wounded were reported.
