– the publication writes.
Russia's second-largest gasoline producer, NORSI, can process 16 million metric tons of oil per year, equivalent to approximately 320,000 barrels per day.
The shutdown of the CDU-6 unit at NORSI will lead to a sharp drop in the refinery's output, adding further uncertainty to Russia's energy sector and fuel supplies. The unit is typically capable of processing 25,700 metric tons per day, equivalent to about 190,000 barrels, and accounts for 53% of the refinery's total capacity,
– the publication adds.
As a reminder
According to official data and sources, virtually all major refineries in central Russia have been forced to halt or reduce fuel production following Ukrainian drone attacks in recent days.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery and other enemy facilities, and also clarified the results of the strike on the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station.
