The shipowner of one of the vessels hit by a drone during today's Russian attack is from the PRC, and the crew on board consists of Chinese citizens, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, providing details of the Russian strike, UNN writes.
Details
"The Russian Federation struck a vessel with Chinese citizens on board. This morning, an enemy strike UAV attacked the bulk carrier 'KSL DEYANG', which was at sea near the Odesa region," the Naval Forces of the AFU stated.
"The vessel flies the flag of the Marshall Islands, and its shipowner is from the PRC. On board is a crew of Chinese citizens," the Naval Forces of the AFU noted.
The Naval Forces of the AFU emphasized: "Russia once again demonstrates that its attacks pose a threat not only to Ukraine; now it is a risk even for its closest partners whose vessels are in the Black Sea."
Recall
Already three foreign vessels have been hit today during a Russian attack on the way to one of the ports of Greater Odesa — flying the flags of Guinea-Bissau, the Marshall Islands, and Panama.
It was reported that one vessel hit was Chinese.
