Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained another FSB agent in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The perpetrator coordinated Russian strikes on Nikopol using multiple launch rocket systems, tube artillery, and FPV drones. This was reported by UNN with reference to a statement by the SBU.

Details

It is noted that the shelling was guided by a local recidivist recruited by the enemy, who had served a sentence for theft in the mid-90s. In the summer of 2025, he came to the attention of Russian intelligence services due to his own posts on Telegram channels in support of the Kremlin regime. Subsequently, an FSB officer contacted the man via messenger, offering "quick earnings" in exchange for cooperation.

It was established that the agent received his first payment from the Rashists via a drone, which dropped a capsule containing money near his yard. In exchange, the suspect tracked the deployment locations of the Defense Forces within the frontline city and coastal areas. The enemy was most interested in the location of fortifications and air defense firing positions of the Ukrainian troops,
