AFU struck the "Sheskharis" oil terminal and a Russian "shadow" fleet tanker – General Staff

On the night of May 23, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important facilities of the Russian occupiers. In particular, the Sheskharis oil terminal, the Grushovaya oil depot, and a tanker of the Russian shadow fleet were hit. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU, according to UNN.

On the night of May 23, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important facilities of the Russian occupiers. In particular, the Sheskharis oil terminal (Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, RF) was hit – a strike and fire on the terminal's territory have been confirmed

– the report states.

"Sheskharis" is one of the largest Russian oil terminals on the Black Sea, part of the PJSC Transneft system. Its capacity is up to 75 million tons of oil per year, and the tank farm volume is approximately 1.28 million m³. The facility provides transshipment of oil and petroleum products for export and is involved in meeting the needs of the Russian army.

In the same area of Novorossiysk, the Grushovaya transshipment oil depot was hit – a fire was recorded on the facility's territory.

The Grushovaya oil depot is a key component of the Sheskharis complex and one of the largest reservoir complexes in southern Russia. The total capacity of the tanks reaches about 1.2–1.4 million m³. The facility is used for storage, transshipment, and transportation of oil and petroleum products, including for the military logistics of the aggressor state

In addition, the basing area for ships of the so-called Russian "shadow fleet" was struck in the Black Sea. The strike on the tanker CHRYSALIS has been confirmed.

Our warriors also struck enemy communication hubs in Krasnorichenske in the Luhansk region and in Smile in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as a logistics warehouse in Frolovske, Zaporizhzhia region. In the Donetsk region, an enemy ammunition depot in Prechystivka was hit. The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically take measures to weaken the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force the RF to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Unmanned Systems Forces, struck an enemy echelon and fuel tanks in the temporarily occupied territories. A personnel deployment point, a repair base for enemy UAVs, an occupational "police" building, as well as a significant amount of equipment and enemy fuel reserves were also destroyed.
